Has anyone ever said "you'd be great at..."? Do you daydream about being, doing, having, someone/thing else? If you could change your life - how and what would it look like? Perhaps you want to discover your creative side, set up in business, travel, or do something daring?  Many of us don't follow our dreams because we think we don't have enough time.  Or we spend time fantasising that when we get the new car, the pay rise or win the lottery, we will be satisfied. Of course money can certainly make  life easier, but the happiness we get from having new things is short lived... and then we want more! Long term contentment comes from inside and it isn't always easy to achieve. If you believe you spend too much time and energy working and looking after others, then maybe you deserve a little me time in 2021 ?

This day is a specialised programme of individual and group work activities based on knowledge, skills, and practice. It is an opportunity to take some time out for yourself and meet with like-minded people. This is a one-day workshop that will enable you to:

  • Clarify your long-term goal/s
  • Decide your short-term priorities
  • Identify who and what could help you move forward
  • Identify who and what could hinder your progress
  • Make a realistic step-by-step action plan to take away                                                                                                                                      This promises to be an interesting, energising and fun day at the very least and at best has the potential to be life's up to you!

Are you stressed, often hear yourself saying “there are not enough hours in the day”, or find yourself going backwards? Modern life is fast-paced. Even when you are sitting still, it’s likely you are not actually fully present but peering at a screen and someone else’s life. We have become experts at being busy at the expense of being still.

This one-day workshop will:

  • Introduce you to (or remind you of) the benefits of slowing down 
  • Deliver mindfulness techniques 
  • Offer you an opportunity to practice mindfulness in everyday life (including mindful housework and chocolate eating!)
  • Enable you to identify where your life is in disarray and plan to regain balance
  • Introduce (or remind you of) techniques to reduce stress, including visualization, laughter yoga, and relaxation
  • Enable you to practice self-compassion and self-care and make a commitment to take this into your everyday life
